As an authorized facilitator, I will guide you through a 5-day intensive training focusing on providing individuals with the skills needed to guide, mentor, and support anyone who would like to enter into or sustain long-term recovery from an addiction to alcohol or other drugs.

Designation

The RCA provides 30 credits (CEs), which will give you the CCAR Recovery Coach designation and may be good for obtaining certification in your home state.  While we are accepted nationally at most certification boards, including IC&RC Member boards, we encourage new participants to check with their local board before signing up for any course.

  • Register

    Join the next RCA cohort. The training will run from Monday, 2/10 through Friday, 2/14 from 10 am to 2 pm EST each day.

  • Order your manual

    Every participant must have a CCAR RCA manual. Once you’ve registered, I’ll send you an email with all the information you need, including a link to order the manual from Amazon.

  • Start your pre-work

    The RCA awards you 30 CECs (Continuing Education Credits). 20 of these credit hours are earned in the online training. The remaining 10 credit hours are earned by completing pre/home work.

 FAQs

  • The Recovery Coach Academy is $700

  • Refunds will be available for cancellations (in writing via email) within one week of the training program.  No exceptions.  Please take this into account when you sign up for a training program.

  • If you miss any portion of a CCAR Training, for any reason, you need to speak with your CCAR Authorized Facilitator immediately. It is up to the Facilitators' discretion how the material missed may be made up and this may include a make up of time missed at an upcoming class.  CE Awards will be held until the missed time has been completed to the Facilitator's satisfaction.  CCAR cannot award partial CEs.
